one of my regular boarders was transported by plane to austrailia and he was fine a bit stiff but fine and he was a old dog.
only one thing i wouldnt give them any drugs to make them sleep its not a good thing, as the plane goes so high, it slows the heart rate down on the dog and if drugs are given as well this doubles the heart rate, many dog get ill and could be possable to lose the dog. seen it happen on animal airport they DONT recommend giving drugs to dogs that go on planes.
